Christmas Greetings 2002

Dear Friends!

Christmas! That simply beautiful, glorious word abundant with meaning! This Christmas God will again be born into ordinary human reality. Into the human heart He comes, only by invitation, embracing our lives only to bring us happiness.
We must not forget that Christmas is a holy day of peace, and that there is no peace without justice and forgiveness. Our readiness to forgive is our step closer to the Child of Bethlehem.
Perhaps this Christmas is a sadder one for you than other years. Perhaps this Christmas you dearly miss a loved one whom God has called to Himself during the past year. Yet, this Christmas God is born for each one of us, and His arrival brings peace to all. His peace is the advent of all of life's joy.
May this wonderful Christian holy day abound with Christ's peace for you, and may you live each day of the new year together with Him. Be joyful Christians! Share your joy with others. Only a generous person grows closer to God.
