Fr. Ivica Majstorovic
Fr. Ivica was born in Imotski on October 24, 1974, completed grade school in Drinovci and then went on to finish high school in Visoko and Sinj. He joined the Franciscan Order in 1993 in Humac. Fr. Ivica completed his philosophical and theological studies at Catholic Theological University in Zagreb in 1999. He immigrated to the United States on November 17, 1999 and served as a deacon at St. Jerome's Parish in Chicago where he was ordained a priest on May 7, 2000. From September 2000 to September 2001, Fr. Ivica served as assistant pastor of St. Francis Parish in Windsor. From there he departed to New York to serve in the same capacity at St. Cyril and Methodius Parish. In June 2002, he was named administrator of that parish and since mid-2003 served as its pastor. In August 2006, he came back to Chicago as pastor of the Blessed A. Stepinac Mission on the north side of Chicago. In January 2013, Fr. Ivica became pastor of St. Jerome Parish.
