We are happy to offer our
catechism program again this year. In order to offer
your child the best instruction and training, it is
important to have the support and cooperation of the
parents. Below are our policies so that this year will
be a successful one for all: Students are expected to be
on time for each session and to behave appropriately
(students should be in class, seated and ready for
instruction no later than 9:30 a.m. All CCD
students must attend Mass every Sunday. If your child
does not attend Sunday Mass, he/she will be denied CCD
instruction.
CCD classes must be taken
for two years in a row prior to a student receiving a
sacrament. If a student is absent more than three times
during the school year, a parent must come to meet with
the teacher prior to the student being readmitted to
class. Students are expected to complete all the
assignments on time and to the best of their ability.
Students will be graded according to class participation
and quality of assignments and tests. First Communion
students are obliged to take part in the Corpus Christi
procession and the procession for the Feast of the
Assumption, Velika Gospa on August 15th. Students must
be dressed in their Communion suit/dress for these
special processions.

Classes
begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and finish at
10:45 a.m.
4. The
fee is $65.00 for one child and $85.00 for two or more
children from same family. There is also a $20.00 book per child fee.
5. At
time of registration, parents must bring with them a copy
of baptismal and First Holy Communion certificates. If
sacraments were received at St. Jerome’s, none is needed.

the parents, and us the teachers, our children will learn

is the ultimate source of Love.
