new servers at the Altar of St. Jerome's
On the Solemnity of Christ the King, Sunday, November 25,
2007, eleven young parishioners chose to serve the King at His Altar, and St.
Jerome's Parish joyfully accepted their service. At two of the Sunday Masses,
there was a formal ceremony of reception into the ministry of altar server.
The soon-to-be-servers entered the Sanctuary with their parents behind them;
their altar server garments were blessed; they put on their server garments;
and finally they received the priest's special blessing, thereby becoming
altar servers. The rest of the Mass, they stayed in the Sanctuary, adding to
the prayerful atmosphere simply through their presence. May they always add to
the prayerfulness of the Mass whenever and wherever they participate in the
future!

novih poslužitelja kod oltara
Na
blagdan Krista Kralja, u nedjelju 25. studenog 2007, jedanaest mladih župljana
postali su poslužitelji kod oltara Gospodnjega. Izabrali su služiti Kralju, a
obitelj Sv. Jeronima radosno je prihvatila njihovu odluku. Na dvije nedjeljne
mise, bilo je svečano primanje ovih
mladih poletnih poslužitelja. Zajedno
sa svojim roditeljima ušli su u oltarski prostor, te nakon blagoslova odjeće i
svakoga pojedinoga, svečano su primljeni u službu poslužitelja. Radost je
bila vrlo nazočna taj dan i na licima i u srcima.
