WEEKLY
MEDITATION
Jesus
attracted people. There was always a
crowd around Him. That was because of
His words ? no one had ever before
spoken as He did ? and at the same
time because of His actions. Man, in
his great need for salvation and love,
finds the solution to his problems,
and finds life in Jesus. In Jesus he
discovers his Spring, his happiness,
his joy, and the restoration of body
and soul. That is why people sought
Jesus and solicited Him so
relentlessly that He barely had time
to rest. He attracted people with His
goodness and unselfish love. However,
Jesus most powerfully draws people to
Himself with His cross. He told us
this when He said, "When I am
lifted from this earth I will draw all
people to Myself!" The cross is
the clearest sign of Christ's total
love. From the cross, His heart spoke.
Today the cross still remains the sign
with which Jesus desires to draw us to
Himself.

THOUGHT
OF THE WEEK
"The world is a dangerous place to
live, not because of the people who are
evil, but because of the people who do not
do anything about it."
