Novena for The Feast of the Assumption begins on Monday, August 6th at 7P.M.mass. The mass schedule during Novena is as follows: weekdays at 7:00 P.M., Saturday at 5:30 P.M., Sunday at 6P.M. The rosary will be recited half an hour before mass. The Assumption Day masses will be at 7:30, 9:00, 11:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. The traditional procession will begin after 9:00 A.M. mass. After the procession, a solemn high mass will be celebrated at 11A.M.

ST. PATRICK'S MISSION APPEAL
This weekend of June 30th/July 1st, Father Philip Nsangu Phiri will make a missionary appeal at each mass. Fr. Philip is a diocesan priest from the Archdiocese of Lusaka in Zambir, Central Africa, where the St. Patrick Fathers also work.
Donations will be used for the training of their seminarians and the support of their priests in their work and retirement. Please be generous! Thank you! Father Philip, welcome to St. Jerome Parish.

Jean Aljinovich passed away. She was 72. Our sympathy to her brother Albert, sister Helen, son Frank, relatives, and friends. May she rest in peace.

School News from the Principal
Robert Morris College announces "Making the Grade", a program meant to encourage academic excellence. All entries must be from 5th and 6th grade students only, and report cards must have straight A's. Parents who enter their child's/children's report card must include a daytime name and phone number where they can be reached. The third quarter report card is due by July 28, 2001, and the fourth quarter is due by December 4, 2001. A photocopy of the report must be sent to the following address.
